performing arts organization dedicated to bringing fine visual & performing arts classes,
workshops & performances to all ages - with an emphasis on exploring the creative process,

Our actors are all local talents from Ulster & Dutchess counties. We have two rotating casts with the roles of Pozzo, Lucky & Boy doubled.

Cocoon Theatre has received a generous donation from the Ellis L. Phillips Foundation allowing financial
support to students wishing to participate in Cocoon classes and workshops for the 2011-2012 season.

2011 Hardscrabble Parade
This year's parade is on September 24th at 4:00 p.m., with the lineup beginning at 3:00 at the Middle School parking
lot. Please let us know if you wish to particpate. We are looking for:
1) Girls 6-12 Passing out flowers to the public
2) Boys 6-12 Playing "driftwood and cans" percussion
3) Women 13 and up "Ancient Oracle"
4) Approx. 10 Men "Slaves"
For costumes, girls and women need two single bed sheets of the same color or pattern each, plus 1/2 a dozen hair ties and cords/belts.
Boys and men need shorts and T-shirts that will be drenched in clay.
