COCOON’S FINAL 6384 MILL ST. PERFORMANCE - “YOU SAY GOODBYE …”

Cocoon Theatre celebrates the culmination of its inspiring 15-year run at 6384 Mill Street in Rhinebeck, NY. with an evening entitled “YOU SAY GOODBYE …” on Saturday, September 27 at 7:00 pm. Tkts: $15 suggested donation. Pay at the door by cash or check - bring a dish and a gift to share. P.O. Box 793, Rhinebeck NY 12572. www.cocoontheatre.org 845-876-6470.

The evening features the explosive talents of duet team Chelsea Murphy and Magda San Millan hailing from Philly with their new touring piece mixing dance, theater & social satire, as well as performances by Cocoon artists, for an exciting farewell with hors d’oeuvres, a silent auction of artwork by Cocoon’s Creative Director, Andres San Millan, and other surprises.

Cocoon is excited to announce a new season performing in the beautiful, historic Cuneen-Hackett Arts Center in Poughkeepsie in 2015, as well as the distribution of a recent $10,000 grant from The Ellis L. Phillips Foundation, allowing reduced tuition and outreach programming during 2015. Schools and individuals are encouraged to contact Cocoon for a meeting if interested in reaping the benefits of Cocoon’s unique offerings, such as a new touring option of “The Illustrated Man,” a recent adaptation of six Ray Bradbury short stories, available for school bookings.
